Cerahelix, a Maine startup company commercializing an energy efficient water reuse technology has been selected to participate in BlueTech Forum’s Innovation Showcase 2018.
The BlueTech Forum brings together the innovative water technology companies, entrepreneurs, investors, and executives from around the globe to network and hear cutting-edge presentations on market trends and insights.
“To present at this year’s forum with the motto – Managing Water Risk in the Circular Economy – couldn’t have come at a better time for Cerahelix,” explains Susan MacKay, Cerahelix CEO, “…as we are currently introducing a 2-stage water reuse system using our ceramic picofiltration membranes that achieves more than 95% water recovery. We are very excited to share this new development at the BlueTech Forum.”
Cerahelix, Inc. was established in 2011 to develop energy saving filtration products using DNA biotechnology combined with ceramic materials. The PicoHelix is the first filter that achieves high purity separations while working in challenging process conditions. The combination of high purity and durability in a single filter product makes the PicoHelix applicable across multiple industries with wide-ranging applications including industrial water-reuse, organic solvent separations, and concentration of bio-based chemicals and pharmaceuticals.
